The Kowtow Stripe A-Line Dress, The perfect dress to throw on over your togs in Summer, or pair with heals and for a dinner with girlfriends. Made from 100% ethical organic cotton this full length, a-line sleeveless swing dress features a rounded wide rib collar, side seam pockets (love pockets in dresses!) and long side seam splits. The stripe is bold and beautiful!

The Kowtow cotton is organically farmed and free from chemical sprays and genetically modified seeds to benefit the soil and farmers. Finished with OEKO-TEX certified nickel-free tacks made in Germany.

Washed and dyed using Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) approved processes, which ensure the sustainable use and treatment of water..

All Kowtow cotton is certified by Fairtrade Labelling Organisations International (FLO). Fair trade empowers farmers to negotiate with buyers to secure better prices for their cotton. Every season, certified farmer groups receive a premium to be spent on community projects such as medical costs, irrigation schemes to conserve rainwater, books and clothes for school children, farmer education, training and upgrades. For the past 12 years, Kowtow have been working with Fairtrade Labelling Organisations (FLO) certified manufacturers in India. Over this time, they have built close relationships with them and visit twice a year.

ACCREDITED WORKPLACES
Kowtow garments are made at SA8000 certified organisations. The SA8000 Standard encourages clothing manufacturers to develop, maintain, and apply socially acceptable practices in the workplace. SA8000 organisations are audited by certification bodies accredited by Social Accountability Accreditation Services (SAAS). SA8000 helps ensure the workers at Kowtow production facilities receive the following benefits: guaranteed minimum wage, social security fund, pension fund, paid holiday leave, sick pay, medical insurance, subsidised lunches, overtime pay, workplace unions and free transport to their workplace.

RESPECT FOR ANIMALS
Kowtow have sourced a premium merino wool from New Zealand certified by ZQ Merino. The standard ensures growers commit to the highest grade of animal welfare, environmental care and social responsibility. This includes commitment to no mulesing and basic freedoms as described in the Animal Welfare Act 1999 and the Animal Welfare Code of Welfare 2010.
